University of California, Davis
The University of California, Davis, founded as an agricultural branch in 1905, is now one of the University of California system's largest campuses with nearly 40,000 students.

The University of California, Davis began in 1905 as an agricultural extension of the University of California, Berkeley, located on a farm site in the Sacramento Valley. It became the sixth campus of the University of California system in 1959, growing from a specialized agricultural college into a comprehensive research university. Today, UC Davis is the home of more than 40,000 students—the largest enrollment in the University of California system—along with faculty researchers and visiting scholars from around the world.
The campus is organized into six professional schools: Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Medicine, Nursing, Law, and the Graduate School of Management. The university maintains particular strength in agricultural research and development, including the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science, which focuses on wine, brewing and food production. UC Davis researchers have made significant discoveries in strawberry breeding, grape genetics, rice research and bee breeding—work that has direct impact on California's agricultural output.
A university community often means thinking about the future: children starting school, students taking on loans, families making plans for the years while everyone is working and the house is full. When that stage comes to an end, the insurance that covers it can end too. A life insurance policy sized to the household's real obligations and reviewed as circumstances change is how most families maintain that balance.
